RCI exchange

Just in the process of finalizing our first resale, YEA. And I know its not the best use of points, but our contract is loaded and was thinking of putting the 2011 points into RCI and looking at places for our europe vacation this summer. Is there somewhere we can look at what places might be available to DVC thru RCI exchange for europe? I know the availability might not show, but just to get an idea.

You can try accessing RCI through www.rci.com/dvc. Most of the times, if I'm not on the member website, I can see what my options are there. As you stated, you won't be able to see what is actually available for the dates you want--just the property options. Once you get your member number, you can go to the DVC website or call MS to see what is actually available for the dates you want.

I'm not sure I would deposit any points with RCI. That way, if they don't have anything you want to do you can always go to WDW, Vero Beach, Hilton Head or DL using your points.

Thanks for the quick reply, unfortunatly it does not, or not showing, any places in Greece. oh well back to the drawing board

I was waitlisted on a property in Hawaii (RCI). My points did not transfer until my request came through. No worries about losing points unless you get what you want. Then, the points must stay in RCI. Good luck!
