I just found out that RaySharpton passed away last month. He used to post regularly on these boards, often on the disABILITIES board, where he was a often a great help to people.

Sorry to hear this. He hasn’t posted in a very long time.

I remember him being very upbeat and helpful when posting. We can always use more of that in the world. He will be missed.

It seemed after he was hit/sideswipe by a car , he didn't post much. If I remember he posted a little, then nothing . I had thought maybe we lost him to covid.

That’s what I thought. I bet he would have had quite a lot to say about these new busses…

Ray hadn’t posted since some nastiness occurred during Covid, however he had been reading up until this past May. He also never responded to my PMs since he stopped posting. I believe he had visited WDW at least once in recent years.

I had seen him posting sporadically on a couple of Disney oriented Facebook pages until sometime this summer.

I'm so sorry to hear this, I'll miss Ray. It was his thread about the Fold and Go electric wheelchair that got me interested in them and led to my purchase. I always enjoyed all his posts.

I wasn't able to find an obituary for Ray but he was a friend of mine over the years and a FaceBook friend. He had cancer last year and passed either the end of July or early in August while he was still in treatment. RIP, Ray.

I haven't been on the boards in some time but have recently been reading through posts again. Just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear this news. Ray was a very special person and always so kind to me -- as he was to everyone. <3
