Raw Threads + iron on decal

Has anyone used a Raw Threads/Tasc bamboo shirt and put an iron-on decal on it? I'm considering designing my own running shirt for the WDW Marathon using an iron-on decal. I love the Raw Threads/Tasc bamboo shirts, so I'd love to use one of those. However, I haven't used an iron-on decal since I was in middle school many a few decades ago So, I'm not sure how well this would work and weather it would just end up being a stiff, uncomfortable mess of a shirt for running.
