Rates on none points

What are the discounts for other resorts if I am staying on a cash reservation? Do you get a discount on value resorts?

The only DVC discount, when available, is a 25% Member discount at DVC resorts. The discount is based on the published rack rate for the villa. There is no DVC discount for other WDW resorts when making cash reservations. DVC points may be used at all moderate resorts and at Deluxe resorts with no DVC component, but not at Value Resorts.

DVC only offers a member discount at DVC resorts. When available, I believe it is 25% off of rack rate.

Once I started staying at the DVC Resorts, the values and moderates became a thing of the past. Very difficult to go back to those after the DVC accommodations.

I totally agree with you! Heck I even find the deluxes hard to take after DVC!

I agree but only after you have stayed in a one bedroom or bigger I am (was) a big fan of the Poly and while I will take a poly room over some of the DVC studios -- I would not trade a one or two bedroom so staying at the poly one year (as we said we would do) has become a mute point. My first year I stayed in a studio

Thank you for taking the time to give me the advice on the AP. We have been down 7 times stay in Value Resort 5 offsite 1 and OKW 2 bedroom 1. sometimes the kid in me wants to stay with the fun char. surroundings.
