Rates for Easter Break...

I'll be purchasing APs when we go to WDW for our Nov vacation (Jersey Week) and I've already bought airfare for Spring Break (for us the week of 4/10). Now the 120 day mark doesn't hit until sometime in December so I will definitely have my APs in hand to check the BR program, but I guess I'm wondering if there are good rates offered during the Easter holidays.

I can currently book room only w/ AAA, which I will probably do in order to guarantee our accomodations. Then check to see if I can do better or even upgrade to another resort.

Anyone with first hand info regarding AP rates during Easter? Even ballpark?

Easter is a really crowded time. We too have ap's and I am debating about what to do. For the last week of april this year we got $100 off rack rate for the Polynesian and I had to call the lst day the codes were announced to make sure I got it. I might try the best rate too and see what they are offering. Since we already have our ap's that is a cost we dont have to worry about and since this will be our last trip with one of the ds before college I might be willing to spend more. I always have a plan b if I dont like the disney rates and that is the swan/dolphin. Also you might want to consider more than 1 resort choice if the one you want is not offering the rate you are looking for. Good luck.

then when I have the APs in hand, start checking the BR program and see if they offer anything. Considering people have been posting about terrific rates for the Christmas holidays, maybe they will offer something great for Easter too. Since we're coming in the Saturday of the week leading into Good Friday and Easter Sunday, I might catch something that way.

Guess I just have to watch for when they release additional dates. My friend has an AP and can check for me or I can ask an agent I know at Small World to see what is showing for me.

We also had $100 off at BC Last 2 Easters with AP's-but it sure looks like the days of -$100 are gone. Most I've seen lately has been about $75-$80 for AP holders but here's hoping I'm wrong!

Newbie Here - going the same week as you in 2006! Do you mean $100. off the total week or $100. off every night? AAA couldn't give me a substantial rate discount for moderates in WDW, so I just went with rack rates through WDW reservations.

why wouldn't you take advantage of even a small AAA discount and then wait and see if the AP codes come out? Regardless of what kind of reservation you have, if you want the AP rate, you'll have to call anyway and get one. Then, if you went through AAA, just cancel the ressie. I'm sure they will come out early enough to allow those of us with AAA ressies to cancel them w/o penalties.

And the $100 was per night, not for the week. So you're going the last week of April? We're going 4/8-4/14.
