garden grill- a family favorite If it's a family fave then do it!

ohana-never been - Gotta do it, I recomend breakfast too it's my favorite character meal

akerhaus (sic)-never been Food was mediocre, see princess somewhere else. If you wanna see Cindrella do 1900 Park Fare, great meal there and great character interaction

tony's town square-never been Never been either just for the fact of bad reviews and I don't touch bad Italian! I don't recomend any TS restursnts in MK myself, I would head over Whispering canyon at the WL for another nearby option

tokyo dining-never been never been but I would do Teppan Endo for Japanese instead http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=95

yak and yeti full service-never been I liked the atmosphere but don't expect anything great, better Asian food at my local Chinese take out place. If you do go get the fried wontons for desert, one of my favorite desterts in Disney, i would make an ADR just to go for desert. Do tusker House instead for a meal.

chef mickeys for dinner -never been If youve never been I would go, it's one of those places that is good food and you get to see the characters but you don't really go for the food. For a WAY better buffet but no characters do Boma for sure! http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=197

I would recomend doing Coral Reef at Epcot if you never have, it is my favorite.

They look great! If you were considering it then I would say go with Hoop-de-Doo instead of Chef Mickey's. :) Like the PP said, it will cost more.

I would also probably do Teppan Edo over Tokyo Dining, unless you don't want teppanyaki style dining, in which case leave it. :)

I would also reconsider Tony's Town Square, even though I personally enjoyed it, I haven't been in a couple years, and it seems to have gotten a lot of bad reviews since then. If you want a good Italian meal, head over to Epcot and go to Via Napoli. If not, then try Liberty Tree Tavern at MK or Whispering Canyon Cafe over at the WL.

Have a magical trip! :wizard:

Ohana is our favorite. I would definitely not do Tony's because it really is lousy. Have you considered Kona Cafe at the Poly? This is another fave and offers a nice break from the parks. I do not like any of the t.s. locations inside MK except for Crystal palace for breakfast. We had the very best service of our trip there last year. I believe our server's name was Maria. She was very attentive but not cloying. We all loved her. And the food is very good.

I wouldn't leave the park and go to WL for a meal. It just takes to long unless you are leaving for the day and a break. If you are worried about tony's I'd try LTT for lunch or The Plaza.

thanx , so tusker house over yeti is what im hearing and tonys not so good, we r going to the mnsshp that night just wanted to be close to get into party early, might pick different restaurant now!!

I would definitely not do Tusker House over Yak & Yeti. I know Tony's gets mixed reviews, but we actually have had great experiences with Tony's. The food isn't anything special, just your basic Italian, but the atmosphere is great. I would recommend the chicken parm if you go there. You can find much better buffets at WDW than Chef Mickey's, but it is fun and a good atmosphere inside the CR. It's also really expensive, which is great if you're on the DDP, but not if you're paying OOP.

a friend just returned and had a very good meal at tony's so i'll probably give it a try, still deciding to go oop for hoop de doo and get rid of chef mickeys night , i have a 6 year old boy wonder which he would like better

akerhaus (sic)-never been :lovestruc It's terrific for breakfast
tony's town square-never been :sad1: We did not enjoy the food but the service was great. We didn't like the sauce so it may be just not to our taste.
tokyo dining-never been Never tried it
yak and yeti full service-never been :) One of DH favourites
chef mickeys for dinner -never been :sad2: Food NOT good, but you get to see the fab five so we now stick to 1 breakfast per trip

Lots of great choices, I'm hungry just thinking about it :rotfl:

Yak & Yeti is an excellent choice! We enjoyed it so much last year we're going there again on our next trip! Typically we like to eat somewhere new but is hands-down the best TS in AK.
