Hi there! I am planning on making the following ADR's. A bit of background: my and my DBF are taking another couple with us. We're planning on dinning a little adventurously. Our idea is to skip as much "American" food as possible for our TS and be adventurous and exotic. Here they are;

Signature dining
Narcoossee (really wanted to do two dining experiences. Couldn't find any other one that was very exotic, and with the excellent seafood this looked the best)
Jiko

Normal TS
Tutto Italia
50's Prime Time Cafe (none of the TS's at DHS looked good. This looks to have the nicest food. Could we request to not have the interaction? My friends wouldn't be very big fans of it)
Teppan Edo
Marrakesh
Kouzzina

Some background to our trip. This is my first trip to Disney World since I was 7 :rotfl2: so its been awhile. But I've been to Disney Land 6 times, and just loved the magic :wizard:

We'll be stopping at Disney World for 9 days as apart of our American tour. We live in New Zealand so this is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime trip. My friends and me really want to have interesting dining :cool1:

Some other ones we're considering: Toky Dinning (We just LOVE sushi. A lot more than the food Teppan Edo is looking to be offering, but Teppan Edo has great reviews and it also has that cool chef) and San Angel Inn and Biergarten (this I'm so far not planning to do because we aren't big on buffets. We'd rather have a limited but excellent food choice rather than a food and wide food choice). We want nice tasting food, but we want to go very easy on the steaks, we aren't steak people! Thoughts on any of the ADR's would be appreciated. We will be on the dining plan and will be over there in late September next year. Thanks!

Welcome to the Dis Windmill:) If you're looking to avoid the typical American cuisine, you might re-think the 50's Prime Time and perhaps Narcoosees.

I love sushi too, but haven't had much of it at WDW. I hear the California Grill has great sushi. I did have some tasty sushi at Wolfgang Puck's at DTD.
There is also a sushi bar at the Poly that looks intriguing.

With respect to the role playing at 50s Prime Time, I think they will soft-pedal that if they feel you're not playing along.

I think your other choices look good. Hang around here for a while and you'll get more input than you'll know what to do with;) :earsboy:

California Grill with the view & while Wishes is happening in the Magic Kingdom could make for a great night.

I would pass on going to 50's Prime Time to eat, but stop in for a drink.

I like Narcossee's as well as Citrico's.

If your looking for a dinner experience you could leave the Studios via boat & go to the Boardwalk & enjoy Fyling Fish Or boat to the Beach Club & go to Yachtsman Steakhouse....

Yeah, if you are not into the playing around they usually can pick up on it.. if they don't, maybe pull them aside and explain your friends are not into all the jokes.

Where else are you going in the US? We can help you with all your dining needs!

Here's my 2 cents! On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best.

Narcoosee's = 5. Wasn't impressed. Food was just ok and so was the service. Not bad, not good. Just average.

Jiko = 10. Loved it!!!! Excellent wine list. Food and Service was fabulous!

Tutto Italia = 8. Also loved this. I can't remember the waiters name but he was the best waiter we had all week!

50's Prime Time Cafe = 7. Food is good. Antics are fun!

Teppan Edo = Haven't been. But really would like to try it. Maybe the next visit?

Marrakesh = Haven't been. Not interested in trying this restaurant. The counter service in Morrocco always seems to win out.

Kouzzina = Haven't been yet.

American here living in New Zealand :)

Marrakesh is my favorite place to eat out of the restaurants you listed. You can't go wrong with a huge plate of couscous... mmm :lovestruc For other unique dining experiences, I suggest Sci-Fi Dine In Theater, San Angel Inn, and Ohana. Also, the No Way Jose Sundae at Beaches at Cream.

Have fun!

Wish I was a Jersey Girl living in New Zealand!!!!!

I have to agree about Marrakesh, but make sure you go for dinner & not lunch so you see the belly dancer.:goodvibes
