WL is first because it was the first time we went to WDW in '94 and WL had just opened and I fell in love with the resort and WDW.

That's a tough one but.....

1. BWI - LOVE the location and the hustle & bustle of the Boardwalk

2. YC - very close second -- now that the kids are older, SAB could throw YC into 1st

3. AKL - based on the resort alone (if we add in our transportation issues, it plummets in the rankings)

4. WL - BEAUTIFUL at Christmas time

5. OKW 2 bedroom villa - LOVED the room, just felt very far away from everything and didn't care for the "resort" because it didn't feel like a resort to us (we were far away from the front and the pool)

6. ASMovies

I have stayed at POP solo so I am not including in the rankings until after our family trip. I know it would be above ASMovies but think POP could also beat out OKW

Honorable mention would be the contemporary when I was 7 in 1974. I cannot fairly compare it, but of course it was one of the most exciting events of my life.

(I had absolutley no idea I stayed at so many disney hotels.)

1. Wilderness Lodge - Boat transportation nudges WL ahead of AKL (to MK & about a dozen restaurants) Lots of onsite activities: bikes, pontoons, mice, walking trails, etc.

2. Animal Kingdom Lodge - One of the most beautiful places on property + great on-site dining. Breakfast overlooking zebras and wildabeasts can't be beat!

3. Port Orleans French Quarter - Nicely landscaped and generally underrated

4. Caribean Beach Resort - Fun atmosphere, but a bit too spread out - still a great place though.

Even though I ranked these, I will say that there isn't a whole lot of difference in how I feel about the top 5, as they were all great places to stay. Each has there unique attributes that makes them special. I am not a fan of CBR, however.
