Rapunzel says not related to Ana and Elsa

They wouldn't have to be related to attend something like a coronation or wedding. They are both royalty. Their lands could be strong allies so they make a show of bring there. Happens all the time in the "real world".

Crazy talk lol she says she was at wedding lol

#1 there is no wedding in Frozen - neither Anna nor Elsa is married

#2 - if you watch carefully it looks like she is there for the opening of the gates - with her purple dress and short brown hair. It is a very quick appearance you have to watch carefully. I missed it in the actual movie but a Disney Store CM told us about it so we caught it on the DVD

Aww, now I have to go and watch it again to see if I can catch it....darn it......:yay:

Yes! Rapunzel and Flynn make an appearance during "For The First Time In Forever" on the far left as Anna walks out the gates.

There are many Disney characters that make easter egg appearances in films that are not their own.

Sebastian in Aladdin
Belle in Hunchback
Every Pixar character in every other Pixar film (lol)

But that doesn't mean they are related. It's just an easter egg for the fans. Just like the Hidden Mickey.

Yeah, but theories are fun. :goodvibes

There is a theory I've seen online that Rapunzel's mother and Anna & Elsa's mother were sisters, and that A&E's parents were on their way to the "Rapunzel's been found!" celebration when their ship went down. Which would also explain Rapunzel and Eugene's presence at Elsa's coronation.

But there is no proof of this at all - just idle (if fun) conjecture, and I don't think any person at Disney has articulated it.

I asked Rapunzel how Arendale was; she looked at me and said: "It was fun till it cold cold. Then Eugene would NOT stop complaining."
