i just have to vent about the NO situation.


first, why the heck did they keep people in the city? why not send busses and take poeple inland?

2.i was reading that congress will convene tommarrow to get money sent to NO. GET YOUR SORRY BUTT OUT OF YOUR CHAIRS CONGRESSMEN AND VOTE!!!!!

3. Drop parachuting specail forces to deal with the looters and people shooting. NO MERCY FOR THE PEOPLE SHOOTING!! SHOOT THEM ON SITE!!!, then bring in helicopters full of supplies, igve out eh supplies and take people on the helicopter.

This is a free country and nobody can make you leave against your will. Many people who had the means to left stayed. Some to "protect" their property. See the looting?

I would love if they did this, but the uproar from this would be horrible. They are moving prisoners. How many of them got away?

You need to get people out not make it easier to stay. Did you see the party in the French Quarter after the storm and before the flooding? They could have left then, but went to the bars to drink.

I understand your frustration, but I think as far as bussing the people out, that would have been a huge undertaking in a city the size of New Orleans. Not to mention the people that didn't want to go, no matter what.

As far as the looters and people raping women and the snipers and all of that - sure - shoot them on sight, but be very sure of your target first. Some of the people are looting food, water, diapers, survival gear - best to let them be. Now as for the people running down the street with gold jewelry and plasma TV's - might as well get rid of them - they're lowlife scum.
