Randy's Mobility?

Hello again,

Pardon my being a pain but I'm under the gun here. Has anyone ever used this service and what was the outcome good/bad/or indifferent?

They are the cheapest rate as of right now.

I have not used them, but I do hear that they are reliable.

The only drawback (in many people's opinion) is that they require you to be present both when they drop off the ECV and when they pick it up. Also, I understand they have you sign some sort of waiver of liability which the others do not.

I have used Walker at least ten times in the last few years and have had no problems with them.

DD has her own wheelchair, so I can't give you first hand advice, but from reports I've seen posted, I don't think you will be disappointed with any of the companies. As Cheshire Figment said, you need to be there for pick up and delivery from Randy's. Some see that as a minus, some see it as a plus since you have a chance to see the scooter before you accept it and ask any questions. People have posted that their scooters from Randy's are new and in good shape.
From what I can pice together, it seems their price is cheaper because they only have mobility equipment (the rest are full service medical equipment companies). Randy's is also a small company and it's possible they have lower costs in repairs or insurance because they require someone to be there for pick up and delivery.

I used Randy's when I was down there in January. I called them when we got to the room, they were there with in a half hour, the sccoter was in excellent codintion, they showed how to use and charge, and showed my friend how to pack in the car. We arranged a time for pick up and they came right on time. We had no issues what so ever and we will use them again in Oct. They were very friendly!

Another positive experience with Randy's. We used them in November and I was very pleased. I am thrilled that on our upcoming trip I now have my own scooter, but it would be Randy's again if not. Have fun and rent with confidence.

I used Randy's in 2000 and was very pleased with their ECV's and service. I'm going to be using Care Medical this time, only because Randy's can't guarentee an 8am delivery and for this trip it is imperative that I have one. Otherwise, I would have to pay for a day that I don't need the scooter.
