Random question about gratuity

I know parties of 6 or more are automatically charged 18%

We are 5 adults and 1 toddler (20 months) our reservations are all for 6 - will they charge us the automatic 18%?

The thing is, I don't care either way ( 20% is norm in my area so that's what we tip) but I'm just very curious.

Yes you will definitely be charged for 6 ppl, even if the 6th person is a baby.

Yes they will. The baby counts as a person for the purposes of a dining reservation.
