We stayed at this hotel for one night, Oct. 12th, for $31 through Priceline. They have no resort fees but there was tax. This used to be a Hyatt hotel, you can see where they covered over the Hyatt name with a Ramada banner. The hotel is a series of small pods, 2 stories high, with a pool for each group of pods. The pools are heated after November 1 for the winter. The lobby and grounds were very nice and a lot of maintenance was going on, which means they are taking care of the place. The room had 2 queen beds, clean and comfortable. The bathroom only had a shower, if you have small kids or like to take baths you had better ask in advance if other rooms have a tub. For the money we paid this was tough to beat and we wouldn't have felt cheated if they had charged a few dollars more.

One of the pods, our room was on the 2nd floor. You can see there is a small balcony.

Thanks so much for the review and pics! I just got this hotel today from Priceline for $35/night for Jan 1st & 2nd 2009. Doing a quick trip to AK for my free birthday ticket. Would have loved to stay on site, but at this price and the amount of time I'll be in the room, I think this Ramada will work out fine. Thanks again.
