Ramada 1000 Vacation Package

We have been offered a 7-day 6 night hotel stay with a 7 day rental car (unlimited mileage) for 2 adults/3 kids at the Ramada 1000 Resort hotel,which they say is a Universal property hotel5 min from Universal. and 10 min from WDW. The hotel is suppose to just have been renovated. All this for $398 but we have to go to an off-property vacation sales pitch (either in the morning or afternoon)
Has anyone stay here since they remodeled or renovated it. We also get some airline discounts and a bonus vacation for 3 days in Vegas at Circus Circus or that other new one with the rollercoster inside.
Should we run or is this a good deal?

I don't believe they are a Universal Property, but I could be wrong. I did a search of the internet for Ramada 1000 and found no reference to it being a Universal property, but I found tons of complaints. As far as I know, there are only 3 Universal Hotels (Royal Pacific, Hard Rock, & Portofino Bay). I don't think I would take advantage of the offer without thorough research. Sounds like an awesome price. Good Luck and let us know what you've decided.
