While I think they're insteresting, people will be bashing them soon enough.
I can see it already.....the dog was filthy, someone will call Animal Control. One kid was eating the dog hair. The kids were playing under the kitchen sink with cleaners. One kid ran into the road when she was loading the others into the van. Dad wouldn't change a diaper cause he worked all day. Mom smacked one on the arm when he pulled another's hair.

They seem like the Goesselins were several years ago....A real family, going to work & trying to juggle day to day activities. Hopefully they'll stay that way I'll keep watching.

I saw most of the first show. I didn't like how they just put the food for the kids on the table and not on a plate when they were at Red Robin - ewwwww! But they feed them like that at home too.

They were likable and it was probably more realistic on how the kids kept "escaping". You can bash Kate all you want, but she seems much more organized than this Mom - but this Mom is more likable... Not sure if I'll watch it tho. Kinda btdt on lots of screaming kids.

I definitely like this show a lot more than Jon and Kate.

The Mom seems like a really involved mom. I love how she worries more about playing with the kids and letting them have fun than washing her floor three times a day.

With the husband and wife both working they seem to have less of an "entitled" feeling than Kate does.

I hope everything works out for them.

That seems like reality to me, and a lot of others I know,lol. I thought it was interesting. I did have to turn my head when the one child feel out of the tub though. I hope they don't get torn apart. Maybe that is why Jon and Kate changed so much- from outside influences.

A PA is a physician's assistant. PAs can do some of the same things Doctors can, but there are some limitations--I'm not up on the ins and outs, but with as many medical people as there are on the dis, someone can explain it better than I.

Another nightmare waiting to happen. Jon and Kate both worked at the beginning of the show as well. If this show gets picked up, I am sure one or both will quit their jobs. I don't think filming the husband going to the doctor because his wife thinks he's too fat is a promising sign.

Yup.

I thought this show was cute until the wife pressured the husband to go to the doctor because he was "fat". What a horrible way to treat your spouse on national television.

Also people can bash Kate Gosselin all they want but at least her kids never ran into the street. The minimal control that this mother exerts over 6 wild toddlers really scares me. It just seems like a tragedy waiting to happen.

I can't believe this show. I just posted about it on J & K. Here is a copy of my posts, if you don't mind my repeating it. I had to come and look and see if there was a thread. I just can't believe this show:

I just watched Raising Sextuplets for the first time
. Oh, my goodness. Is there a thread started on them yet? Unbelievable! Did people really say they learned from K & J what not to do? She insists on keeping a tree and moving it from the front to the back, he doesn't want it, too much work to clean up after it, they keep it (of course, I didn't think he was going to win that one) and someone moves it (it's a huge tree) with a crane. He admits he likes it and she was right.

His mom comes in and does laundry with a friend..did they really say they do 35-40 loads??? Don't they do any in between the help coming? Who owns that many clothes? (I thought they said their cousin or niece also lives with them to help..or did, maybe not now?). Although he said he does laundry.

He said he does a lot (he watched the kids, although I saw someone in the background..may have been a camera person and not a helper while she was at work (they need the money, as they have been living off savings), and man, they were biting each other and hitting (sound familiar?) and oh so loud (the kids, not the camera person and the husband)...she called (again) when they were all crying and said something about feeding them. I couldn't hear what he said, for sure, but I thought something like he didn't like doing that but I may have heard that wrong. He did say he did the dishes, vacuumed, did laundry and then he said (I think she said it too) when she comes home she complains he doesn't do enough, that she works too, why are the kids hers as soon as she gets home (although I assume they are hers, because each time she called (and it was at least 3-4 times that we saw, she asked, how are my babies LOL..sound familiar?). He says they argue a lot, and they keep track of who does the most. He says they really need to stop keeping track. Oh, and he also said he would rather be working than staying home with the kids..again, sound familiar LOL?

She did let them play in the mud hole (although she took off at least one diaper and we got mooned LOL) from where the tree went, and grandpa (I believe it was her dad..her mom was also there helping (I was so nervous that the kids were right near where the tree was being lifted, what if it came loose?) gave all six a bath by himself (grandma had already said it was a handful at their age when they were outside..her mom I believe had six kids, but grandma said it was a lot different when it was one at a time) and one of them (did I say they shared them all naked, not that it bothered me, but I know it bothers some that K & J have let the private times show) started to climb out and fell on it's head, on the tile.


And that was the first half of the show. I"m off to watch the rest, and then the second show I taped.

Oh my..and people think this is better than K & J why?? I'm dizzy, so much was going on.

Oh, did I say they make remarks to and about each other LOL?

and then this, and now that I found this thread, I won't post about them on the J & K thread. I was just so surprised at this show. Has no one learned anything??

Oh no, on the raising sextuplets, he's on a diet, and she's giving him a hard time because he took a piece of her pancake. He said he lost 8 pounds already..she said he may gain back 4. And then she asked if he drank his shake. I feel like dejavu (except the kids are way nosier and into stuff).

The just had a 'meeting', where he said, our marriage has to survive this (paraphrasing) but I don't feel I'm a priority. I know you have 6 kids, but what about me....and she said, can't I be the needy one for the next year and a half..and then I'll make you the priority.

Am I the only one who see's where this is going? I don't think I give them as long as I gave K & J. She's just gone back to work and although I see they did hire a nanny, I don't think he can handle this when the nanny isn't there for very long. They both work full time, and he goes to school. Man, this is a family that should have waited to have kids til they had more time and money...oh, they will probably have more money soon with the show.

I really was just so stunned, when it seemed like a repeat of K & J, but so, umm..loud and no one has time to breath, and they both think they do more than the other. I'm sure it is a very nice family, but they seem so familiar. Do most of you want this to just be a thread about how nice this show is..because if so, I'm thinking I probably shouldn't be posting, because I can't believe the lack of control of the kids.

Oh good Lord. What do you expect her to do? Split herself into 3? I think they do a fine job.

I've yet to meet a perfect parent. But I guess because they're being filmed they should be? Mmk.
