Was just coming to post this. I can't imagine the stress on a family raising multiples and don't see how they think having a television show is going to lessen that stress? :confused3 Maybe they're so desperate for money they think it's worth taking their chances? :confused3 Hope this doesn't become the norm for him. It really is so sad.

I was pretty upset when I read the story above, why? Not so much that I liked HIM, he really seems like a jerk on the show. He's very sarcastic and short tempered, but I do like Jenny and feel bad for those poor kids.
Jenny should have stayed in Arizona, she gets no help from him at all. I am surprised though that he would do something like this.

I totally agree with you. I've only seen one episode and I thought he was a total prick. What a jackhole.

I wonder how many parents of higher multiples end up divorced? I understand there are large families that get along just fine, but it must be very stressful to have 6 kids going through the terrible two's and three's simultaneously.

I'm sure it's high. We just had our second and we are both spending all our free time with our kids. Not a lot of free time. However, if you've ever watched the show, he's a butt. The way he reacts and the stuff he says - I bet they had issues well before the kids came along.

I haven't watched the show, but one of the commercials showed one of the grandparents making the comment that in Florida they wouldn't have any help. It sounds like they were being diplomatic and knew she wouldn't have any help...

I believe that he is a total jerk. He left his job to take on a position of a stock broker. And that studying for his Series 7 exam was totally ridiculous. I have taken it twice (passed both times) and it is not that hard. A little background on the test, it must be fully registered with a firm or it expires after 2 years. I worked at an exchange for 5 years and it lapsed so I ended up re-taking it.

For both times, I took a 5 day class (read the books in the evenings while working full time), studied for the full weekend and then took the exam the following week. I passed, both times, with grades in the high 80s. While its a lot of material it's not difficult. I thought he was totally over-reacting. And let's be honest, in this economy who becomes a junior stockbroker. That's just insane!!!

He acts like a total bully using his size to intimidate his wife. You could definitely see that there are some serious issues. I had to stop watching the show. I felt sorry for her. :sad2:

Yes I agree! And something must have happened with him and his Dad, he is always jumping down his Dad's throat. I don't know, he sounds like a baby sometimes if something doesn't go his way, but something happened with his parents as child I gather.

Considering part of the charges was for domestic abuse, it sounds like something is happening in his own children's lives with their own father. :guilty:

Also, you have to wonder how bad it really is if he was so out of control that he got himself arrested knowing that it could have an impact on his television show (meaning how must he act out of sight if he was this bad in public :headache:).

With out reading all the post it sounds like they can use Nanny 911 or Super Nanny

lol well I think the kids are actually pretty good, its the adults...well its Bryan lol.

I did watch the show the first season, but lost interest this season. However, when I did watch it, I didn't think the kids were that well behaved. One or more of them always seems to be screaming, and isn't there one kid (Cole?) who has "biting" issues?

I didn't really think Bryan was that out-of-control, but OK, he was chauvanistic, although no worse than my friend's husband (won't go into detail here). I never understood why they moved to FL; Jenny had a decent job in AZ and couldn't Bryan find a job there? It seemed weird that he isolated them like that, but ... then again ... that is one of the classic maneuevers of an abusive spouse.

I just hope he doesn't hurt the kids. Unless they move back to AZ, there's not much Jenny can do. She can't raise 6 little kids without any support.

Agreed

I watch the show and I'm not surprised to see this story. Brian has a horrible temper and seemed to fly off the handle in front of the cameras quite a bit. I can only imagine him when there are no cameras. There was one scene this past season where he rips one of his kids from his mother-in-law's arms. The poor lady got tangled up and couldn't free herself, so Brian just yelled at her and started to drag her. It was horrible.

I watched the first season and then didn't watch any more until they had a marathon and for some reason I was home in bed. Anyway, there was a big difference in his behavior. The first season he wasn't that bad. The second season his behavior was horrible.

And I agree with you that those kids could use some discipline. Even my DH said, "Wow the J&K kids are so much better behaved." :rotfl2:
