We are going nuts it's raining and not that warm to stay out in the pool areas for very long.

Any suggestions. Need something with climbing jumping or running indoors out of the rain.

Even if its not free. We have a car to go offsite.

We rode thru the monorails and played in the open areas yesturday but that isn't going to fly again today.

Why not call the concierge of the hotel and ask if there are any indoor play areas or arcades or chuck e cheeses or one of those bouncy places nearby?

There is a Monkey Joe's at Pointe Orlando on International Drive. There is also the "Largest" McDonalds with a indoor playland at International Drive and Sand Lake. Chik Fil a on 535 has a indoor play area. (So does the one on Sand Lake and Turkey Lake).

Alot of the deluxe hotels have activites throughout the day. Animal Kingdom Lodge has cookie decorating, face painting etc. All of which are indoor.

Honestly the best times we have had as a family are when we went through the parks in the rain. Put on raincoats or ponchos and go. Lines will be shorter. Our Sept trip had rain every day...hours of it, and we had a ball.

We always just throw ponchos on and stay in the parks. If it is really raining the lines often get really short. We've had a ton of fun in the parks in the rain, even when it is a bit chilly.

There's the big McDonalds with the indoor play area. There is also a mall off of I 4 that has a bouncy room. Sorry can't remember the name
Of the mall. But I'm sure someone at the desk would know.

Go to the parks anyway. The crowd is usually smaller, and you can do enough inside things to not get completely soaked.

One trip, we were in WDW/Universal during a tropical storm. It rained A LOT, all day for about 4 days straight. We were soaked to the bone. Not fun. One of the days, we went to Citiwalk and took the kids to eat in one of the restaurants and then we went to a movie. It was a good way to pass the afternoon and stay dry.

totally agree - rain has never kept us out of the parks - just go and you will find things to do.

Thanks for the replies we tried monkey joes it was great.
He is to rambunctious to sit still for a movie.
But if anyone has more ideas for tomarrow it would be great. Looks like a whole day of rain again.

Ingredients:

Duct Tape, Chair, Child.

Instructions:

Assemble as you see fit.

(Kidding!)

Are there any activities (games/books/etc.?) that you can do in the room?

Go to the parks!!! MUCH less crowded. Grab some ponchos and trug on. All rides run unless it is a thunder storm and little kids love running in the rain. Get a poncho and use it to cover your stroller.
