So I am not against wearing a rain coat and hitting the parks . But multiple days would wear on me. Just curious what everyone does for rainy and rainy cold days?
Depends on the rain. Hurricane rain and downpours I would definitely use the long thick rain ponchos, or real rain gear, even rain pants. Especially if it causes cooler weather. Being a little wet isn’t that bad but cold and wet is no fun for me.
Usually we just use a thin packable hooded rain jacket if normal rain is in the forecast and we always wear quick dry bottoms (shorts or skorts) and shoes that can get wet like Crocs or Keens since some rides you can get wet.
My family doesn’t mind a little rain and the rest of my family enjoys getting wet on rides but I don’t so I always have a disposable very thin rain poncho in my waist pack.
Also, as long as their isn’t lightning, water parks are great on rainy or gloomy looking days. Much less crowded. The rides at studios are in doors so everything should still run. Rides at IOA may run in the rain, but riding a roller coaster in the rain can sting
