I think I know the answer to this one, but for those recently off the Magic, have they changed the Rainforest Room to have a view similar to the Fantasy and Dream, or is it still inside with no windows?

I saw they added Spa Villas to the Magic with the personal hot tub and roman bed similar to the Fantasy and wasn't sure if the Magic updated the Rainforest Room as well.

Thanks in advance.

We are heading out on the Magic in September, and have been on it before but never visited the spa. This time taking my MIL and wondering if I should get a day pass for a little girl time? Would you guys mind describing to me what they offer/what i can expect in the rainforest room? Wondering if it's worth not only the price but losing a day of other activities. Thanks!

Its a small room with some heated tile beds and then there are a couple of steam rooms and a couple of rainforest showers. They sometimes do a special where you get champagne and strawberries plus the rainforest for a set price but not sure whether that's only offered once onboard

They are lovely little spots of sensorial heaven, with soothing lights, rainforest shower heads, and lightly scented steam, fog, or soaps, in a tiled enclosure.

Yes, the rainforest room is better on the larger ships. But having said that if you have multiple sea days the rainforest room on the Magic is worth a couple hours of your time. It is very relaxing and fun to try the different saunas and hot and cold showers. It is really just quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the ship. We usually buy a day pass and you can come and go any time and as often as you wish during that day.

You may want to consider taking a tour of the spa area so you can see it before you decide on a day pass. Check the navigator to see what time it is offered (usually the late afternoon on embarkment day). It is a nice way to see everything they have to offer, including the rainforest room. They also hold a raffle for free prizes.

When we went, you could only buy the day passes before you got onboard. After, they only offered the length of stay ones. Other people may have different experiences though.

Good to know. In the past I was able to buy day passes on board without a problem. For our upcoming trip I will be sure to buy them ahead of time. Thank you!

How clean did you guys find the RR on the Magic? This seems right up my and DHs alley, but I am phobic of loose hair (like that gets on shower walls and clogged in drains). Do they clean the showers after each person?
