Rainforest Cafe?

Have you thought about sharing pizzas in Cafe Mickey, I've 2 teenage boys, they don't share meals and it's not something I've done but lots of others on here have, it's perfectly acceptable and the pizzas are more than big enough, you could always add a side order of fries or garlic bread. :)

When DD and I went in June, we did this we had one large pizza and a garlic bread (which is the same size as the pizza!) and two drinks. With our Shareholder discount it worked out to be one of our cheapest meals we had that trip! :thumbsup2

We did the rainforest cafe in Jan.. Didnt have to queue as was early eve and we were seated by the elephants. Food was fine.. What we expected really but service was a little slow.
Only gripe was that there was no toilet! Couldn't work out whether they don't have one at all or it wasn't working! So everyone had to get redressed to go out in snow to use one in cafe mickey!
Can't imagine they don't have one at all? Our last visit before then was 2006 do I don't remember that sort of detail!

They do have toilets but they are not very well signposted nor are they in a very well thought out location.

When you first enter the restaurant area, you've got the fish tanks on your left and the toilets are behind there. To get to them from the restaurant you have to go back out into the shop area and then around the back of the fish tanks. Sounds easy, but when it's busy in there it can be a bit trickier than it should be! :rolleyes1

My brother, said he went there last year and confirms they do have one, but its written in French on the door so he ended up in the ladies by mistake :rotfl2:

They were out of order for a while in Jan - You must have gone during that time - lots of people were complaining about it as they weren't told in advance and it was a real pain to have to leave the restaurant and everything :sad2:

Fantastic timing.. Right at the coldest time of year lol!

We love the Rainforest Cafe and always go (often more than once) on every trip! :) We've always found the food to be good but the atmosphere is just unbeatable! I especially love the thunder storms they do every half hour or so :goodvibes

As with everything you'll find in DLP it's overpriced for the food but I feel more as though you're paying for the atmosphere which is worth every penny. Personally I'm not a huge fan of being sat near the fountain- it looks great but you can't hear a word of what anyone else is saying :faint:
