Rainforest Cafe or Tusker House for breakfast?

We have never eaten at either. Which do you suggest? I need to make an ADR fast

Great question, I was just thinking about the same thing. I want to eat breakfast at the park on my AK day. I will eagerly await the responses!

Never eaten at RFC, but we LOVED Tusker House! The food was great (think Boma-lite) and the characters were great too.

We haven't tried Tusker House, so I cant compare the two. We had breakfast at RFC and liked it very much. Their breakfast menu is a la carte, so it's not as much food as the buffet at TH, but we liked getting to choose something. Our DD loves the inside of the RFC -- it's really fun and "jungly" in there. Also, it was quiet and relaxing in there.

We had breakfast at the RFC 8 years ago and LOVED it!!!
The atmosphere is really awesome and the food was GREAT!!!!

It made such an impression on my hubby that he requested we eat there with the kids when we take our 1st disney family trip in Dec!

Haven't tried TH so I can't compare!

I would suggest eating breakfast at Tusker House in the morning to take advantage of the character breakfast. Plus you can make your ADR earlier than park opening. We have an 8:10am ADR when the park opens up at 9am. Then you don't lose any touring time to eat breakfast. Then eat lunch at Rainforest Cafe. That's exactly our plan for our AK touring day.

We loved the Tusker House breakfast! Fantastic!

Never been to RFthere, but have been to other locations ( Vegas) and based on the food it's Tusker House for us every time. The charaters were so much fun, too!

Tusker is great...We love getting the 8:00 ADR on a day the park opens at 9:00...We go straight to the safari after breakfast...The characters are great and the foos selection is very good...The place is very loud and the tables are very close together...But you get the feeling you are in an African-market place, so that is cool.

The kids and I love RFC's breakfast at AK. I'm particularly partial to it when I have the $25 giftcards from MyPoints in hand.

Besides, where else can you buy boxer shorts with green frogs on them

can I jump in here to ask how early you can get a reservation at Rainforest Cafe, and if they are open before the AK opens, do the buses start running out there that early and is it easy to catch one, or are they few and far between? I am still trying to find a nice place to have breakfast on our last morning and this sounds like a good idea and fairly close by (we'll be at the all-stars).

RC starts serving at 8:30...Tusker starts at 8:00...Yes, there are regular buses running to the park at that time in the morning.

I just booked RFC my son wanted to try Tonga Toast, we are giving it a try.......the kids menu looks good too.

We decided on Tusker House. DH said he was rooting for Rainforest, but he thinks the kids would enjoy the characters at TH. I was also hoping for some Tonga Toast at RF! I am pleased with the decison and got an ADR for the time we requested! Thanks again for all of the help
