Last time we took our DGDs, we ate at Tusker House and liked the buffet variety. However, I've heard that kids really like the Rainforest, so for a change this time, we were thinking of trying Rainforest. Which do you think the kids would enjoy more? Rainforest for a change or return to Tusker House.

Rainforest Cafe is interesting, but the food is way better at Tusker House. Plus, there's a Rainforest Cafe at Disney Springs and some other cities. The characters at Tusker House are some of the best interaction at Disney World.

My DS9 really enjoys them both. Can you ask them which they would prefer? I would also take into account where you will be in the park around lunch time (and where you want to go afterward) so you aren't trekking all over the park to make it to a lunch reservation. We typically do Rainforest Cafe if that is our last stop in AK so we aren't going all the way to the exit and then back into the park.

Mentioning just in case it was different the last time you went to Tusker House because I think this is new in the past 2 years..? Anyway, the characters are at all three meals now, not just breakfast. We had a really good dinner there last August. We actually had a Rainforest ADR and switched to Tusker House.

Thanks, but the last time we took the DGDs, there were characters there at lunchtime. However, I remember when Tusker House didn't have lunchtime characters. When I was there solo, I booked an ADR at Tusker House lunch deliberately for the lack of characters, the relative quietness. Trivia question-in what year did Tusker House switch from just having characters at breakfast to having characters at every meal? I'm honestly not sure when it was, except that I THINK it was sometime after 2012.
