Rainforest Cafe in DTD

Yes, it's best to.
I've seen people sent away at lunchtime due to no available reservations.

We tried to book the Rainforest Cafe in DTD when we visited in January and were told we couldn't book in advance.

We were at SSR at the time and had no difficulty in making other reservations the night before through the Concierge desk at the resort. For some reason however, we were unable to get a ressie for RC.

Let me know how you get on.

I managed to get RC reservation last week for August/sep holiday but it was for one in Animal Kingdom, everytime i have been the standard wait time has always been around 45mins-1hour if you dont have a reservation.

You can make an ADR through the normal Disney Dine number for the AKL Rainforest Cafe.

To make a reservation at the the DTD Rainforest Cafe call direct on:

Costs us $15 and you you get first avalable tabe when you show it,plus they give you a discount on the food,its valid at rainforest cafes,only thing they dont send plastic card overseas so make sure you hold onto paperone

For DTD RC we try to get there for around 6 and then we normally get seated between 7-7.30. The que is always very long though so don't be put off. On the other hand you can book and Adr for RC at Animal Kingdom.

I ditto this! Have the card too (spent year in the States so have the proper one) and its great. Also you used to get $10 back as a discount voucher as soon as you purchase it but not 100% sure if this is the case now

thanks for the tips I called WDW Dine the other day and they gave me the number to book through DTD. I havent had a chance to call yet so will do sometime this week.

If we did a walk up would we be able to book a table and go and have a walk around again then come back at our designated time or not?

i have just called,rainforest cafe DTD,and have made a reservation,for sunday oct 26th for 1p.m.
i rang WDW dining,to change an adr & the lady informed me,you could make an adr,for the rainforest cafe DTD direct,and gave me the number.you can make it,at the 180 day mark.
the grandkids,are gonna love it

We've never booked there before, we usually just go up and if there are no tables we put our names on the list. They will give you a ticket with a time on it to return, and then you are free to browse the shops while you wait. Just don't go too late, we arrived at 9pm the first time we went and thought we would get a table right away but had to wait 90 minutes!! Never been so hungry!!
