Rainforest Cafe gift certs from My Points--? for anyone who's USED one

I emailed MyPoints about this but they're not responding to me.

I cashed out earlier this year and got a gift cert that has a date of Jan 02 in the upper right hand corner. I looked it over closely and there's no wording on there about an expiration date, so I just filed it away.

I cashed out for another RC gift cert in June and this one doesn't have a preprinted date, but it does say that it expires in one year.

This has me worried about whether they'll give me a hard time using the first gift cert I received. Anyone have any experience with this? I'll be so peeved if we get there and they give us a hard time...

I think that one of my certificates had a date, and I had one that didn't. I had no problem using either of mine. Of course, they weren't expired. However, when we were there, I was asking about the expiration dates on the certificates for when you join the club. The girl said that they are pretty good about taking expired gift certificates.

Annie GC because it will have expired befor we get there and had our name printed on it and said nontransferable....





should have held on to it and given it a try.

I don't know if this will help, but Rainforest Cafe is owned by Landry Seafood. They own Joe's Crabshack and several other seafood and steak restaurants. If you go to the website http://www.landrysseafood.com/ and click on Rainforest Cafe, you may be able to join the Safari Club with the GC that expires first. That way you will get 10% discounts on food and merchandise at any of the Landry's owned restaurants anywhere.
