There is a 2nd entrance from inside the park.

If you are inside the park and heading back towards the front, there is a little path on the left hand side that goes behind the lockers. That will lead you to the Rainforest Cafe.

And yes, you have to exit the park even when entering through the entrance from inside the park. There is a tapstile there for re-entry after your meal.
