For our first trip to Disney, we decided on these two restaurants. We chose the Rainforest because it had a good variety where the kids could pick a pizza if they want for dinner, and we could have a good steak - just hoping the steak is really good there! We chose Cape May after reading the breakfast thread, and it seemed to have the most variety as far as the buffet goes. I had read that we should experience at least one character meal on our trip, so I chose that one.
Now, for the character meals, what do they entail. Our kids are not young, 12 and 13 actually, so I'm scared they're going to pull the bored teen routine and not be interested in anything and think it's stupid. Do they do activities? Is it okay to just sit back and enjoy the show or activities and not participate?
