That is typical Florida weather for this time of year. It is also widely scattered so one part of WDW may get drenched while the other area is dry.

It usually only rains for a short while and then the sun comes back out again. It also helps to chase some of the crowds away at the parks.

You will have a wonderful time.

I hope our weather is that good when we're at WDW in August. That's the same as the weather's been here daily in PA - hot, humid and a daily thunderstorm at dinner time. I'm more worried about all day soaking rains you get during hurricane season, lol.

We just got back tonight, and in the past week we had 2 days of rain. Wednesday, July 7th we arrived and had a wicked thunderstorm for a few hours, and one other night we had an hours worth of rain. That was it! But boy was it hot and crowded!!:sunny:

just normal Florida weather during the raining season. Always be prepared for an afternoon rain shower no matter what the weather man says.

It rained every day we were there last year the end of August but just a little bit. Right between 3 and 5pm we would expect a quick shower. Too bad it didn't cool things off though, it just made the humidity worse.

Don't worry, it won't be a wash out. Have fun!!

We came back last week from WDW. During our stay it rained about an hour an only in the late evenings. Some nights we'd only get lightning and thunder, no rain. It chased some people away from MK so the e-ride nights were wonderful.

Thank you for providing the weather report for our stay next week. We happen to LOVE the rain showers in Florida when we go in July because it cools us off. The bad thing is that you have to watch out for the lightening because I guess it can be wicked bad and dangerous. That's what I've heard anyway.
2 + days and we're on our way!

We just came back and it rained alomost every night, but only for a short time and you actually welcome the rain b/c it cools things off. The few nights it didn't rain, it is just as humid as the days.

oh yeah, i will look at it that way!!!

thanks , I am gone in less than a day!:Pinkbounc

That is typical weather for there. It doesn't usually last very long though.

Don't worry! We just returned on Sunday from a trip from 7/3-7/11. Most days we just had a quick thunderstorm around 4pm for an hour. One day it did rain from about 2:30-10pm, I think the 7th. You can be at Epcot and it's not raining, and it's pouring at MK. The storms are widely scattered and vary from park to park and resort to resort.

It's just typical Florida weather. Since we've been back in Jersey, it's been rainy/cloudy for 4 days straight! It's not like that there for the most part. Have fun! It goes so fast, just enjoy!!!:wave2:
