We are heading to Buffalo tomorrow & the weather looks awful for our drive there. Snow, then freezing rain & then rain.......

What time is your flight? If you have any choice about driving time I would wait till after lunch, it sounds like the rain will be in the early afternoon and hopefully all the traffic and mess will be gone. Safe driving either way...

Travelling during the winter is always a bit of a worry, isn't it? We thought it would be smooth sailing for our trip last August (the first time we had gone in the summertime instead of the dead of winter), but instead of worrying about snow and ice, we just barely managed to avoid being delayed due to Hurricane Isaac.

Been there - done that. Had major issues some years back flying back into Buffalo in the winter.
