Has anyone seen any ponchos especially for kids. We have purchased the $3 reusable kind for the adults but don't have anything for our toddler.

I bought mine at Target...check the camping section. Sometimes you can find them in the dollar spot as well.

I have seen them at Target and also at our dollar store in childs size.

I found a fold up slicker for our son in the clearance aisle at Wal-Mart. Its a little more heavy-duty than a standard poncho you would get in the camping aisle (I couldn't find kids ponchos in the camping aisle at either Target or Wal-Mart and had to fashion a little poncho out of a big one for our son at WDW in May - lots of ripping and knotting). It came in a thick flat plastic bag type thing so that you can refold it and store it after you use it. I think it was $3 and they had 2T and up sizes and many colors.

Where is Walmart's clearance aisle? Do all stores have one? Have you seen the ponchos lateley?

Our local Wal-Mart just has this random aisle with a bunch of clearance stuff piled all over the shelves. The stuff is totally random as well - I bought thank you notes that I picked up right next to the rain slicker. I don't know if other Wal-Marts do this! I bought the slicker in the fall, but still saw them in the clearance aisle just before Christmas.

Last year I found a pink child's poncho with the Disney Princesses on it at the Dollar General (It was $5). My DD has never needed it, but I've brought it twice now. I knowshe'llneeditfor sure when we go in June!

I wish I had bought more while I was in NY... Maybe they still have them?

Well, after a lot of calling around and shopping, I did find a rain poncho for DS. My Walmart doesn't have a clearance aisle and didn't have any kid ponchos. Target had ponchos for $7, but the Dollar General had cute ponchos for $4.

FYI. Dollar General had Tinkerbell and Princess ponchos that would be perfect for Disney for $4. For boys, they only had Curious George and Elmo so we ended up with a Curious George poncho. Oh well.
