Hello -
We leave for WDW in the morning (yay!). Looks like Thursday is going to be wet, with 100% chance of rain and Friday may be wet as well. Of course as I am packing, I see DD3 raincoat and boots are too small. Do they sell rain sets (ideally coat, boots and umbrella all matching) in DTD? I've been to 5 local stores and found zilch and I don't have time to look anymore.

I know about ponchos, would love something cuter (sorry, I like to take a lot of pictures and would just prefer something more photo friendly ;) ).

Thanks!

I only remember seeing poncho's, not a lot of rain gear. You could try looking up the stores at DTD and seeing what they offer. Remember that even 100% chance of rain on a given day may not mean all day.

If I may give an opinion. It gets pretty warm and humid at times, even in May. A rain coat and boots may get pretty uncomfortable after a while. Just my opinion. Do you have an REI store near you? They usually have some pretty good, comfortable rain gear.

I hope the rain stays aways and you get good weather.

Some of my favorite days in the parks are rainy days. No sunscreen and so much cooler! You won't pull out the camera in the rain for too many pictures, so just get ponchos. Pictures will be taken inside, and coats/ponchos will be tucked away. The ponchos cover your legs/feet much, much, much better than rain coats. A crying wet LO in a cute coat is lot less fun than a smiling happy dry one in a poncho.

We also bring umbrellas, so our faces stay nice and dry. An alternative is a baseball cap underneath the poncho. Staying dry is the key to a successful day! The lines will be short, so you can ride to your heat's content!

My advice is to bring shoes that can get wet, and a second set for any LOs. When you go to eat, switch the kids shoes (set others out to dry) and slide your feet out of yours (rest on top). Your feet will be dry, when it is time to go, and shoes dry or almost there. We have a lot of Tevas, Keens, Crocs...so those go a long way on a wet day. Not a fan of sneakers and tennis shoes in the rain.

Have fun!
