Rain Forest Safari Club

Can you join the Safari Club before you get there or does it have to be done there. I was hoping I could join before we got there so we would get the 10.00 welcome coupon to use there.

I had the same idea last week but when I went to their web site it said you have to join while at the restaurant.

I am pretty sure that when you join you can use the 10% discount on that days meal (or free chef's appetizer) However, I don't think you can use the priority seating.

We were once at the local Rainforest Cafe here in MA and there was a line out the door and down the hall. I asked to join the club and they said I could but could not be seated right away, but I would be able to get the discount. We did join, but we didn't stay for dinner (1hr 45 min. wait) We were all set for next time though. Also, if we are in WDW and want to eat at the RFC we could be seated right away.

Do you have a RFC near you perhaps you could join at a location near you. Or maybe you could call one and have them send the info to you so that you can mail it in.

when I was in Vegas. When we arrived at the restuarant there was a wait of over an hour. I started to walk away and one of the girls asked if I wanted to join the Safari club and I would get the 10% and could use the priorty seating line so I signed up. As far as signing up beforehand I just checked their website and this is what I found?

To Join, you MUST visit your nearest Rainforest Cafe.

I was just reading thru the letter that came with the $10 coupon and it says


"Remember to keep your card with you at alltimes because each time you visit Rainforest Cafe, or any other restaurant concept owned by Landry's Restaurants, Inc., you'll nee dto show your membership card to a crewmember." (Muer, Chart House, Vic & Anthony's, Brenner's, La Griglia and Pesce restaurants are not included in this program.)

I think this means you can use it at the TRex too, wouldn't that be great. If anyone knows any different please let us know.

That RFC is probally about 30 min or so up rt 128 from me. With gas prices it is not worth it to drive there just so I can join and hopefully get the 10.00 new member coupon in the mail. Trust me I thought about it though

Heck, I have to drive about 30 minutes just to get to any decent resturaunt!!......

I could not stand that. I have a Ruby Tuesdays, TGIF, Pub 99, Red Robin, Pizzeria Uno, Friendly's, Chili's, Long Horn Steakhouse, Outback Steakhouse, Panara, IHOP, Applebees, etc. etc.. plus every fast food joint, and none big chain restaurants all within 15 min drive. I am sure there are many many more that I just can't think of now. You know whats funny, is we never can decide where to go

For us the Safari Club is worth every penny just for the priority seating. The wait can be up to 2 hours, but when we show our Safari Club card we get seating very quickly! Now I know you can use Landry's Gift Cards at Yak & Yet in AK...I wonder if the Safari card is accepted there?
