We're complemplating doing a tour. When we started planning we were set on the railroad tour but then the railroad closed on the dates we were going. Now I see they still offer the railroad tour but I can't imagine you can still ride the railroad like the tour description is saying. Has anyone done the railroad tour? Is it still worth it? Is Walt's Main Street Story tour Better? Anyone done both to compare? It seems like the railroad tour is longer with a small breakfast for less money than Walt's Main Street Story tour.

I can't speak to the tour since I haven't done it, but we were just on the railroad a couple of days ago with the New Orleans Square Station closed and it wasn't nearly as enjoyable as it used to be. In addition to the station being closed, a lot of the areas around it are partitioned off, so all you're seeing is a wall. There was a short section where you could see into the closed Hungry Bear restaurant, which was kind of interesting, but the scenery is definitely lacking. The dioramas between Tomorrowland and Main Street are still there, though.
