Raglan Road Meet Booked!

Hi fellow October trippers. I just got off the phone with the very nice lady at Raglan Road and we have officially booked for Sunday 22nd October at 6:30pm, all 22 of us they have even reserved the area known as the "HIFALUTING SNUG" which is our own 3 sided booth, big enough for 26 people! the entertainment starts at 8pm that night but because its a Sunday this will be a very talented soloist, not a band. She expects it to be not so rowdy on a Sunday so the children will be fine in the pub and we should be alright to stay later for entertainment. No deposit was needed, I just gave my credit card in case of a no show so no worries there. Normally we would need a banquet menu for this many but she has very kindly allowed us to order off the regular menu on the night.

That's great news Claire - really looking forward to it

Would have been interesting maybe to see what the banquet menu offerings were? We just have to sort out transport back to our hotel now as the shuttle busses only run to 1 hour after park closing so the alternative would be to go back to Epcot for 10pm and not sure if we will be ready to leave that early. Are we planning to go on anywhere else afterwards or just stay at RR?

That is a really hard question to answer as I can't speak for everyone. From my part I will probably have the kids out of there for 9pm at the latest because I want them up for park touring the next day. Ghirardelli was originally talked about for dessert but I don't really know whats going to happen until the night. You probably will make that shuttle from Epcot at 10pm from my point of view but we'll have to wait and see what others say on the matter. The real gauge will be how long Kevin and Matt can stay above the table sorry I can't be more specific,
