I am planning on going to the Sosa cigar bar in a few weeks with a friend visiting from New York. For dinner I am thinking of going next door to Raglan Road. Has anyone been there? Any feedback? Thank you.

subbing, we will be there in two weeks and I would also like to know this info.

We have been many times and love it, others will disagree. If you do a search (if it is working) in the food reviews you will find some more feedback.

We loved the Pie in the Sky and no trip to RR would be complete for me, without some 'Gers bread and butter pudding with creme anglaise and butterscotch sauce... yumm.

We've been there twice and love it. I personally like the stew the most, but everyone was quite content with their food choices. The last time that we went, we had a party of 30 and all of the food was wonderful. We also enjoyed the entertainment.

We ate there in '07 and loved it. Tried it again this year and didn't like it at all. It seemed the food had gone downhill and the service was bad. DH had the shepherd's pie (as usual) and they had changed the recipe and he thought it was horrible. I had some kind of chicken pie which was cold in the middle and basically just a frozen chicken pot pie. Maybe they were just having an off day, but we won't go back. There are too many great options at Disney.

We went in July for the first time and really enjoyed it. Got a great seat in the main room where we got to see an Irish dancer and hear the singers.

DH bought a flight of beers and said it was great. The one food item that stands out was the fried vegetables. O M G! Amazing! You will never have tastier brocolli in your life!!! A must-order if you go.

Have fun!

We were there in December and for the most part it was pretty good. There were a few weak spots such as no sides with certain entrees but overall we would go back.

There are a few pictures and my dining review in my blog (link in my signature) under Restaurant Reviews on the left side of the blog page. Hope this helps some. :)

My Husband and I went to Raglan Road on our first night at Disney in 2008. We LOVED it the food was good and the atmosphere was fun. I actually won a drinking contest while I was there!!! :drinking1

We go every year. It's one of our can't-miss places and have always been pleased with the drinks, food, and entertainment. I had the beef short ribs last time and they were great. Always have to get the bread pudding for dessert.

We've dined at Raglan Road several times over the past couple of years and have always had good experiences - good service and food and we go a little later in the evening so we can enjoy the Irish folk band (they don't play on Sundays). As someone else stated, you will get a variety of responses from people here but we've had nothing but good times at Raglan Road.

They have a good selection of beers on tap and offer four different beer flights; they also have a good selection of Irish whisky and single malt scotch - they offer flights for these as well.

We like the Dalkey Duo for an appetizer (deep fried little sausages) but have also heard that the Scallop Forest is tasty.

Various entrees we've tried over the years ... fish & chips, heavenly ham, shephards pie, guinness beef stew ... they have all been very tasty.

and save room for the Bread and Butter pudding - the hubby and I usually split it because it's a big, rich portion ... and it comes with butterscotch and creme anglaise sauces to pour into it.

Appetizer-Forks of Scallops:)

I am not a fan of Scallops, but these were heavenly!:littleangel:

We went in August and got the heavenly ham and not bleedin' chowder. Both were very good, although I would say the ham was the winner (and I don't generally like ham). Ger's bread and butter pudding was fabulous! The berry/apple dessert dh got was ok, but nothing special.

Whatabout on St Patty's Day? Anyone go last year?
Worth the bother of what I'm sure will be crazy crowds?

We were there on New Year's Eve, around 6-7PM as they celebrated NYE at 7 since that is when Ireland hit their midnight. It was great food, great atmosphere, and great entertainment. The only draw we had, as we were there early enough to avoid the main midnight drinking crowd, etc, was either our server was upset at working on NYE, or was upset that we were a party of 2 on the DDP, as his other tables were 8-10 per table, and you know, some waiters like those due to the larger tips, etc.

We've been going to RR every Sept. for the past 4 years, or so. I always have the same thing-Not Bleedin' Chowder and Ger's Bread and Butter Pudding. So good! The only think I don't care for is the Irish Soda Bread. Just not my cup of tea.

Here are some pictures-I'm a visual person, I like to see things.

We have eaten at RR lots of times since they opened and always enjoy our meals and service. We were there last month and had another great evening.
