We are planning our August visit and I've got one last ADR to plan out. We are a family of 5 with 3 young girls (2, 5, 7 at time of trip) Middle child is a picky eater.

Can I get some advice on whether or not Raglan Rd. or Planet Hollywood might be better for us?

Thanks folks!:grouphug:

The theme-ing of PH might be lost on your kids. I compare the food there to TGI Fridays.

RL Was a big hit with our family. It has a kids menu with burgers, fried chicken, a sort of pigs in a blanket, and that sort of stuff.

I'd go with PH. We have been to both with our kids, I know my kids enjoyed PH way better.

We do not like either place, with kids I would rather go to TRex or Rainforest

I have eaten at both last Sept and Planet Hollywood was our favorite but I did also like Raglan Road.

Although your kids might like T-Rex or Rainforest better...they are not on the dining plan

Went to PH 2 weeks ago and will not go back. Worst meal I have had on WDW property.

Yes...we'll be on the dining plan, which is why our options for DD are a wee bit limited!

The way I see it, there are Planet Hollywood restaurants in every major US city. Raglan Road only exists in two places. I absolutely adore the place. It's the best place to go for some fun, a few bevvy's, and to listen to great Irish music.

But with kids those ages, I dunno. I though TRex was on the dining plan, but since it isn't, I can't say for sure. Here are what the kid's menus look like:

We've been to both and Raglan Road is one of our favorites. We will probably not go back to PH. Our DS13 is pretty picky and he loved Raglan Road as well. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, listening to the music, and seeing the Irish dancing, too.

There's not a Planet Hollywood location in the world that's worth eating at.

I'd cringe and go to T-Rex before that. Soooo...definitely Raglan Rd.

Might consider Earl of Sandwich if you're worried about finicky eaters.

I would skip them both and go to Earl of Sandwich :worship:

But seriously, Planet Hollywood is okay if you stick with sandwiches and appetizers. The potato skins are quite tasty.

Thanks for all the comments everyone!

I was leaning toward Raglan, and then myTA suggested Kona Cafe at the Poly (lol how's THAT for chaning my mind?).

Think I'll save snacks for DD....

LOL! They closed the closest one to us...in Toronto...probably a very good reasonfor it! :rotfl:

we have never had a bad meal at RR... great food, great service. Would go again without hesitation.

Raglan Road without question. PH is fun but food is not the focus. The best thing I can say is that they serve large portions.

On the other hand, we tried Raglan for the first time last year and it is a definite repeater for us.
