RADP; For those of us who drive NORTH to Disney World ...

I was looking for a thread or discussion about the unique perspective and challenges that face those of us who live south of Orlando. Since most of the country is north of Orlando I realize 99% of the discussions (and all of the podcasts) talk about travelling DOWN to Disney World.

I would like to have something for the rest of us down here. For instance, I would like to know who else considers the first ride at Disney to be the wavy bridge just west (got the directions wrong in my last trip report) of the toll booth on Osceola Parkway. Or stories about trying to find your resort on the way up, or getting back onto Osceola on the way back, without getting lost.

As for RADP I was very active on that newsgroup ten or so years ago. We even came up for the big get-together in December (I think) 2000. Is anyone still left from that who is still active here?

*raises hand*

I was pretty active for a couple of years but boards like this slowly got more of my online time after about 2000. I went to a big RADP meet (and hosted one locally) but it was in 1999. My username there was the same as it is here.

That bridge over Shingle Creek...holy crap, were the engineers of that bridge drunk or something? My DH just tells me I am driving too fast over it, and it's really not as bumpy as it seems...
