Do all rooms and rates at the Radisson include parking for the duration of your cruise, or is it only special packages? I just booked a room for $59 on line and wondered if it includes parking and shuttle?

Thanks.

If you check rates at their web site (www.radisson.com/capecanaveralfl), you'll notice that several rates are described as including cruise parking. This would seem to imply that rates that do not explicitely mention cruise parking would not include cruise parking. But many people have reported booking the lower rates and have no problems with leaving their cars. As far as I know, the Radisson does not require a car pass for cars parked in their lot... thus there's no way for an officer to walk around and have cars that have overstayed their welcome removed from the lot.

IMHO, there are some issues on this board where some folks go by the "it must be okay if they didn't tell me not to..." school of thought... (reusing the soda mugs is one such issue.) I don't subscribe to that school of thought. I prefer to go with the intent of the law. I would book one of the higher rates that explicitely include cruise parking.

Of course, the $59 rate is such a great deal, you may just want to book that rate and then park at the cruise terminal. You may still save money over paying the "cruise parking" rate... and then you wouldn't have to stress out over the availability of the shuttle.

We booked the Fall special rate of $59 for our September cruise. I specifically asked about the parking and shuttle and was told that we could park there and use the complimentary shuttle but the people who booked the package that included it would get first priority. My DH and I figured we'd play it by ear and if we wanted to get to the Magic before the shuttle could bring us, we'd drive there and park at the terminal. You have to make a reservation for the shuttle and they'll give you a time to board. We're driving to Florida and will have our own vehicle so that wouldn't be a problem.

We also drove our our car and this is what we did. DH drove the kids and I with luggage to the ship, unloaded, then left us there while he took the car back to the Radisson. He jumped on the next shuttle back. Being just 1 person with no luggage it was very easy to get on the shuttle. In the mean time I got myself and kids checked in and got on line. DH checked in when he got there and joined us on line. It worked out great!

we phoned for a $99 suite and asked if this promotion included parking while we were cruising - we were told it was!

we didn't ask about the shuttle so I'm not sure if that is included as well but I can't imagine it not being if the parking is!

Two weeks ago we stayed at the Radisson. We had the $99 rate (special $69 coupon was not available). The front desk staff just assumed we had a car, and we were told by several Radisson personnel to drive your car around near your room. One problem - we DIDN'T HAVE A CAR! Tiffany Towncar dropped us off at the hotel, then we had to carry all of our bags to our room. Despite asking, nobody from the Radisson was willing to help. Overall, our room, and the hotel were very nice. Unfortunately, there was no service.
