Radio Disney

My DD has become adicted to Radio Disney over the past couple of months. I thought they broadcast from MGM. Does anyone know if you can actually see a live broadcast?

yes they do and yes you can.

Yes, they're over there by the sound stage. BB Goode broadcasts from there around 12-4 or something like that. Last spring we went to look in the window to see BB, when out popped a CM who said that BB wanted to say hi to our DDs on air! It was so cool and they were thrilled!

Please double check those times. I think most of RD eminates from Dallas.

Funny this should come up now. We were taking the train into Boston for the Fourth of July stuff and went by a building in, I believe Newton or Brighton, that had a huge Radio Disney logo on it. I thought my 9 y/o dd was going to have a heart attack. Wonder what it was.

The afternoon portion with BB Goode does come live from MGM while the rest is out of Texas!!

As for the Train Ride, Radio Disney does have local anchors in the cities where it has a radio station such as Am 1260 in Boston!!! You most likely went by the building that houses the Boston Radio Disney!! When not listening to the Red Sox I too listen to AM 1260-you never know when they might be making appearances in the Boston area!! this is the station I listen to the most in Boston besides WEEI and WBZ

sue z, we were on the commuter rail. Dd has been wanting to try the real train for awhile now. And what was her response when I asked her how she liked it?? Well, it's not much different than the trolley cars!! Sheesh. I'll have to tell her what you said the bldg. was. We have to listen to 1260 even if it's mostly static. Yesterday she had a lactose tolerance test and the only way to get her mind off it was to listen to 1260. More static than music but it did the trick. Thanks for the info. And hi to Quincy!! My dad lives there.
