There's a station out of Buffalo - FM but not sure of the #. I don't know if they have Christmas music yet - may begin Dec 1. I'm not allowed to play Christmas music until then anyways!!!
A website called radio-locator usually has a special list of radio stations that play Christmas music about this time of year. There is nothing on the web site yet but I'm sure in the next week or so, it will be show which stations are playing Christmas music. I know in past years I've seen stations in Ontario on the list but I don't remember where.
I'm pretty sure the buffalo station is 102.5 and they play Christmas music all weekend.
The Oakville station usually switches to all christmas all the time sometime soon - I think it's 97.3
102.5 FM plays all christmas music and so does 97.3 FM but I believe 97.3 doesn't start the xmas tunes utnil Dec 1, which is in less than a week people.
Of course you could check 98.1's website and follow the listen to Christmas music link right now I've also spent the last few years listening to both 97.3 and 98.1's christmas music while I train (for hours at a time) so maybe this year is different 105 in Niagara does play it as well - sister station to 97.3...
So folks I contacted 98.1 directly & here is what my reply was:
Hi *****,
We actually are going to start to integrate it into our programming, we
have it streamed online 24/7 though - but we aren't going to go
overboard just yet.
I hope this clears up any confusion. I know my DH always gets 97.3 and 98.1 confused every Christmas when he is looking to play Christmas music for his employees.
