I have to imagine doggy heaven is that best place ever... mounds of dog bones... giant fire hydrants... lots of pillows! That is how I know my puppy is better off too. Maybe Perdy is running around with my dog now!

I finally have some kinda good news. As it stands my BFF's wedding will not be happening next week, but to help her get her mind off things, when she would have been on her honeymoon, she and her mom are going to DISNEY WORLD!!!

She hasn't been in years (like over 10 ) and while she's still struggling with her heartbreak, I can tell by talking to her that she's really excited to be going to WDW (and I'm super excited to help her plan!) She keeps asking all kinds of questions and of course I'm happy to answer them for her.

Also, DF and I have been toying with the idea of doing a Disney cruise next June after our at-home reception (think of it as a 2nd honeymoon, or an extension of our honeymoon) but I'd have to take more time off work than I have coming to me. So we've been trying to come up with plan B. We then toyed with just going to WDW for a week but staying at a nicer resort, but we've got two other trips next year to WDW planned. So now the plan is.....

We're going to DISNEYLAND!

I've only been to Disneyland once, for one day, over 10 years ago and DF has NEVER been. So as you can imagine we're really excited! We're still a bit iffy on the details, but the plan is to have our at-home reception on that Saturday (the 12th), Sunday would be opening presents/brunch with family then headed home Sunday evening (reception is up north near DF's family). Then we'd leave that Monday morning for California and stay through Saturday. So all you west coasters (Miss Carrie ) better watch out

Aww, that is good news for your friend! Maybe you can slip her one of those Hidden Mickey books, so she can search for all of the hidden magic throughout the World while she is there. A great way to keep her mind off things! And you should totally have her to make a TR!

And yay to Disneyland! What a great alternative to a cruise. Plus, in 2011, I believe there will be a Disney cruise up in Alaska introduced, so hold off until then!

Update time:

Brianna our current contact at DFTW called me today and she now has us booked for the EPCOT portrait session at 9am before our wedding! I'm so excited, I've been dreaming about the EPCOT session since the moment I read about it. We got our copy of the contract and will be mailing it out with our deposit by the end of the week, so things are starting to come together. So a few things on the to-do list:

Are you still doing the Epcot shoot? We have ours that day at 8am! Maybe we'll run into each other! I am using Beaute Speciale too!!

Ok quick update, I went with my BFF (the one who was supposed to get married tomorrow) up to her aunt's house. We had her hair dresser do both of our hair (she was going to do some touch ups since we both color our hair) but I also had her do a practice run on my hair, that way I have some reference pics to show Beauty Speciale.....

Thanks guys! I've received lots of compliments on the new do, it's still kinda weird to see myself in the mirror after being platinum blonde for so long, but I really like it.

Anywho, Amber (my BFF) is having so much fun @ WDW! They did AK and the Studios yesterday and the MK and EPCOT today. I'll post the pics she's texted to me:

She'll be back tomorrow so hopefully I can get the full report from her soon. I don't know if she'll become a full-on Disney fanatic like me, but I think she's definitely been bitten by the Disney bug

So I surprised DF last week, I got onto Cafe Press and had a couple of shirts for us to wear while at WDW:

That's the front on the left with our monogram and the one on the right is the back side of the shirt. I really like how they came out and DF was really surprised.

Time for another update!

We're 45 days from when we leave, so today we paid off our first room ressie As a refresher we're staying at Pop for 5 days, then we switch to Port Orleans Riverside for another 5 days, so that ressie will get paid off next week Also today we went and bought our wedding rings The one of mine they had in the case fit perfectly so we got to bring it home, but they had to order his so it'll be in on the 4th of November.

We're still waiting on the final BEO but once I get it I'll post it. Our guest list got a little smaller as one of my bridesmaids had to back out. She's just received a big promotion at work (which is really great for her and I'm happy for her) but she's having to move in the next couple of weeks and between that her own sister's wedding which is also in December she can't afford to come I have to admit I'm a little sad but I also understand, her sister's wedding is more important than mine. I'm still going to send her the gifts I had gotten her and I know she'll be there spirit (and just a text message away ).

That's about it for now as far as updates, although there's still a bit on the to-do list:

-Make labels for bubbles *Materials purchased, just have to make time
-Find picture frame(s) for grandparents' photos to be places on table
-Get pictures of grandparents from my mom
-Get color touch-up with hairstylist *Appointment booked for Nov. 17th
-Send hair photos to Beauty Special *I'll also take pictures with me but I'd like to give them a heads up
-Try on dress with undergarments and make any exchanges if necessary
-Print programs *Need to decide on paper first
-Send box with floral, bubbles, programs, grandparents photos, etc. to Pop before we leave (probably middle of the week before we leave)
-Pre-pay for dress steaming closer to date

That's it for now. DF and I are going out tonight to see Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3D to celebrate is birthday which was yesterday.
