Race Weekend Hotel Question

I asked this question on the resort hotel board but no one is replying so I thought I'd bring it here. I booked my room for Marathon Weekend through hotels.com. Will I be able to link this to the My Disney Experience app and link my tickets for Magic Bands? I have not bought my tickets yet, but plan to do so sometime in the next month or two. I'm staying at the Dolphin.

Since the Dolphin is not technically a Disney hotel, I believe the answer is No on Magic Bands, since these are for Disney resort guests.

You should be able to link your tickets, though, once you buy them. And at some point, that should give you access to FP+. The question is when--the rollout of all this is not complete (and is not a smooth thing judging by the scathing comments elsewhere!)

I know the Dolphin and Swan are Starwood Resorts, not Disney; however they get the same perks (EMH) as Disney hotels so I thought they may be applicable here.
