Jackie - Way to go! IThat is such a great feeling to be going to so fast and actually be able to keep it up!!!

Leana - Great job! Great pix too! Love teh Mickey CHip!

Laurie - Way to improvise. SOrry about the wind. That stinks. I don't know about doinga double loop. I think that would hurt mementally. You got the first one over with, though, adn your tiem looks GREAT to me!!!!

Jackie - Fantastic job on the PR! I actually overdressed for my 5K yesterday and baked...it was chilly and the wind was picking up when we left to pick up DW's Mom. Race time the sun was out and the wind had moved on. Oh well...still finished.
Mike - That bites about the race! You had to change your schedule around them and they end up not starting as rescheduled. It's nice that you feel that since it was for charity that you wouldn't ask for a refund, but Action Sports should offer you a comp 5K in the future to make up for it.
Leana - Feel Awesome? You are awesome! Great job on the 10K! I love that shirt design! Plus MIckey was there with you every step of the way, well every left step....well you know what I mean!
Laurie - Great job on your first 5K. That's too bad weather is still a factor, but glad you were able to still run and they didn't cancel! You should feel estatic about your time!
Cam - Even though your race got cancelled due to snow and ice, I KNOW you would have beaten your PR for that course and would be here to share your victory with us WISHers!

Leana: Great job on the 10K! I'm glad the weather cooperated.

Jackie: Congrats on the 5K! I know what you mean about running in cold weather; I live in Maine though, so I can't avoid it--the starting temp for my mid-winter race in February was 17 degrees! (layer upon layer of running clothes.)

Laurie: Congratulations on your 1st 5K! I'm glad you were able to find an alternate race to put your training to the test!

Mike: Sorry about your race start mix-up. (man, I would be so )

Thanks to everyone for the kind words!!! It is funny because I couldn't wait to get home after the race so I could post my first race report!!!

Mike--sorry to hear about the confusion with your race....I probably would have been VERY disappointed if I missed it. I agree that Action Sports should comp you something for misinforming you.

Leana--nice job on your 10K!! Double loop courses are no fun as I learned yesterday. Something about getting half way and having to do the whole thing over, just got in my head!!! But you did awesome!!

Andrew---I hear you about overdressing. I had to hand off my hat and gloves to my DBF who came to cheer me on at the end of the first loop of the race. I only wish I didn't have my race number pinned to my outside jacket or else I would have taken that off.....although it was cold and windy, I was so overdressed!!

Jackie--Great job on your 5k!! The weather for your race sounds kind of like mine.....glad to hear you had fun!! I know I did at my race!
