I have to admit that I never got around to signing up for the 5k today, and once I saw the temps for the time of the race I decided against it. I did get out and run this morning, just not in a race.

Thanks for the well wishes, but sadly I'm still nursing an injury in my glute and that along with the heat was enough to make me sit out the 5k this weekend. Fingers crossed I can run the last 5k I need to complete my series on August 6...
