Race Reports/Encouragement/Kudos - 17 and 18 October

It's small black and wicking that has the name of the marathon on it.

Syko? What's the details on this hat? What's it look like? I'm very curious now that both of you just HAD to have it. LOL

I hope the weather this weekend is more fitting for racing and oh your poor poor toes!

I agree, I don't think much worse could have gone wrong in Columbus. Totally sucks!

Not at all disappointed! Very cool getting a hat! Syko you are doing some pretty cool temp races so I'm sure you'll find a place to wear it

It's better than the hat we rec'd in the Flying Feather which was plain brown. Though at the time I was thrilled to even get a hat! It was the 1st along with gloves I'd ever rec'd in a goodie bag.

Now where do we look for race photos? I have to go look at ASI again, I looked on Monday since my co-worker's DH did a race but the photos for his race were not loaded yet and I forget who ASI covered. I remember that they didn't do NIKE. So I will have to hunt down the NIKE race site for the photos of Susie I imagine the Capital City race has a link too Tonight or tomorrow when I have more free time I'll have some fun surfing to look forward to

I wore it all the way home and it's packed for MCM! I also got a scarf for SpinLife so I had that on too.

Cindy - Congratulations on qualifying for Boston! Especially in not such ideal conditions!

Chris - Congrats on your PR! Beating your previous record by 8:16 is huge!! And I wish there were Krispy Kremes after every race Yum!!

Wendy - Great race report! I clicked on your link for the Legend of Medoc - what a hoot!! Tree slug gels sounds like something you'd find on Survivor!

Susie - The Nike's Women 1/2 is on my to-do list! Got any pictures of the bling? I did the Toronto Women's 1/2 which I think is trying to copy from the Nike race but we didn't get a Tiffany necklace.

We where ment to be leaving tonight, but when Hed call to say that my wheels where on there way I had to wait.

They should be here before 3pm tomorrow and then we have to get the tires put on, hoping to be on our way by 5pm.
It should take about 20 hours to get there......guess I will miss most of the team activites.

Are you sure? That guy is awfully serious looking! I'm more used to those photos of you or in person with a HUGE smile, shouldn't there be a hat on backwards too? LOL

They DID turn out great! I think you wore less in the Flying Feather, it must have been REALLY cold for this race.
