I would like to hear what other people's experiences have been with checking luggage at the RAC counter around noon when your flight is not until 9:30pm.

I just have these weird thoughts of where is my bag going to be all that time and what if it doesn't make it on my flight? We usually fly home midday so this has never been an issue.

We had a 7:00 PM flight in October and checked our bags @ 10:30 AM. They arrived with us at BDL with no problems.

We always try to get the last flight into BUF(getting every last bit of warmth!) so we usually have a 7-9pm flight out of MCO and check our bags by 1pm. Never have a problem with all the bags arriving in Buffalo.
We're in WDW 3/10-3/19. Dancin'- I think our trips overlap from what I've seen on Gina's trip report. You're definitely someone I'd like to meet up with sometime!!!
