Tonight and for the last couple of days, I have seen an increased amount of disrespect and inappropriate/immature/childish/naive/unneeded posts and/or threads. To be quite frank with you all...the reason I started posting on the Teen board was to get away from that...well...crap lol.

I would hope that as the teen community, everyone here would want to show that teens have a good sense of maturity. I would expect that some teens would want to show some of those adults who shake their fingers at teens, that we are a great group of people.

What I have seen around the board lately is anything but that. I am not saying that it is all I see, but certainly more than I would want to see.

I want this thread to serve as only a reminder to those few people who find it fun to be disrespectful and inappropriate, and others as well, that this board should be kept positive and descent. We have to prove to those non-believers that teens CAN be mature and respectful!

I know in the near past I have acted well a little childish. But I HAVE CHANGED. I 100% agree that with the dare board and the fighting we have gotten way to disrespectful. I'm not saying we should act like 1930's people having tea or anything. Debates are good but only debating no virtual fights. Thank you loves Disney for putting this out there....

I agree. One of the reasons I come on the DIS is because everyone is always so polite and mature, not like some of the other websites I've been on.

I think it's because of the truth or dare thread. We've dared eachother to start stupid posts and post stupid things. I'm not completely sure, though.

On the DIS, I try to get along with everyone.

Also there have been some fights lately containing art and bigfatloner jerk comments and 19th century women..

I think tho that after the dare thread everyone kinda jsut felt free to make fun of others...

I agree, a thread like this needed to be done. I too came here to get away from all the other stupid stuff on my other message board. I still go there, but the people are mostly adults, who act more childish and judgemental than we ever have. Let's stay cool, and get along *breaks into some corny song*
