Qvc-American girl? What deals will they have??

My dd7 got her first American girl doll last month. I already have an ongoing list of things she wants for Christmas but I've heard on here that QVC has American girl deals.

What kind of deals do they have?

I understand that this special runs around 9/11 so I'll be ready

Just wanted to be prepared as I'm sure these will go fast . Thanks

Hi - You can find last year's deals by searching the Budget Board for last year's thread. I don't know if it will be 9/11; that's just a guess, or around the 25th of each month for the XMas special. Honestly, there's a chance they may not even sell them, but I'm hoping they do, based on the last few years.

The best deal (IMO) was Elizabeth. She was sold in 2009; I got her, plus two additional outfits, and the package was just over $100. So, it was close to getting two outfits for free. Another deal I liked was Julie, her bunny, and PJs for the girl. I think that also was 2009.

Of course, the dolls cost more now ($100 each), so I'm sure QVC's packages will go up as well.

The QVC program guide is up on line for 9/11 and they aren't on that day. The 25th is showing Santa's Shoppe, so possibly that day?

I don't think they are doing a show this year; only selling them online (if at all). So, they won't be in the program guide. I will post if/when I see they are selling them. I'm on their site all the time...
