April 6th
Day 2
EPCOT

After taking some pictures, we walked over to America, and got some slushies!

DB12, DB12's friend, and I got the strawberry ones:

Then, DC4, dropped his slushy on the ground.

He was bummed

After relaxing and having slushies, we decided to ride a ride we could all ride, Nemo!

The wait was NOT 20 minutes, more like 5 minutes.

Nemo was fun, and I enjoyed saying that we had 13 people in our group!

After Nemo, it was time for Test Track!

We had gotten FP's for it BEFORE we met up with DB12's friend and his family... so they didn't have FP's. Oops.
My mom was starting to get a head ache though, so she gave her FP to johnny's friend, so he could ride with my brothers. So, we got in the FP line, DB11, DB12, DB12's friend, DC4, DC6, my aunt, uncle, dad, and me. 6 people to a car, so DB12, DB11, and friend rode in one row in one car with three other people they didn't know. I think they got back row?

Everyone else got in the same car.

Here's our car setup:
Back Dad DC4 AR
Front UD DC6 Me

Now, I don't think I've mentioned this, but UD, AR, DC4, and DC6 have NEVER riden TT before...

So, we got on, and started testing out our car.

We went on some bumpy rodes, tested our brakes, went through the temperature rooms, then got to... THE part.

This is when I got nervous... I mean, a huge truck looks like it's coming at you... luckily, neither of the boys were scared... about that.

Then, we to the part where you stop for a moment then go flying out through the wall. Except, we were stuck there for then just a moment. We were there for a few minutes.

Ugh, really? At this point, DC4 is behind me, crying. I'm not sure why.. I just don't think he liked the previous tests. Or maybe he was scared of what was going to happen? Whatever it was, we got him to stop crying pretty quickly.

I told DC6 what exactly was going to happen, so that he didn't freak out. I told him we were going to go to the door really fast, but it would open just in time. And my dad told DC4 the same thing.

FINALLY, we started moving! And we went through the door, just like I had said.

Before we knew it, we were outside speeding around the track! Very thrilling! DC6 was laughing up a storm, and DC4 was smiling, they were both doing good- yay!

Then, we got back to the building, got out of our car, and went to see our picture. It was a great one!

DC4 had this nervous look on his face, UD looked pretty freaked, DC6 was laughing crazily, AR and my dad were holding onto DC6, and I was smiling weird.

It was a lot of fun! DB's and friend said they had a lot of fun too, when we met up with them.

Looks like TT was a success!

:welcome:

Too bad we just missed each other!

Oh yes, the weather was awesome! It didn't rain once the whole time we were there, like it normally does when we go in the summer, and it was always the perfect temp. I never felt too hot, which was good(:

I felt so bad that DB4 dropped his slushie! Congrats on him doing great on TT - I was scared out of my pants (well almost) when I first rode it. I didn't think that barrier was going to open!! :scared1:

I did too! The only reason it spilled though, was because he took the lid off, and when he dropped it... it went everywhere! Poor kid):
I'm so happy that they did so well on TT, even though David did cry a little.

Awwww, little cousin looks so sad in that picture, after dropping his slushie. :sad1:

Glad everyone enjoyed TT! :thumbsup2

That slushy looks delicious!

Aww it's too bad you cousin dropped his slushy!

It's great that everyone enjoyed TT. Not sure if you mentioned this before, but how long do you think ya'll waited for TT when it "broke down"?

He was really sad. But, my aunt had warned him not to spill it.

Thanks, I was happy that it was a hit! It wasn't the biggest "hit" ride of the trip, but it came a close second

Mmm, I could so go for another one of those slushies right now. It's hot outside, and bright and sunny, that slushie would be perfect ;)

I don't think I mentioned an exact time... I'm pretty sure we sat there for maybe three-four minutes. It just seems a lot longer when you're sitting there doing nothing! At first I thought that maybe they were helping a person with a wheelchair get on (I don't know why) but after a while, I thought something must be up. Then I started getting nervous, and thinking we'd have to get escourted off the ride and miss the best part!

the tron monorail is cool! do they only have one tron monorail? i hope they just keep it as one, bc it takes away the magic-ness of the monorails imo ;)

im glad yall had a good expierience on test track, i was freaked out the first time i rode it, because it goes FAST! they kind of scare you off when youre first entering (the cars that you see go by above you). it doesn't feel like youre going that fast

I'm not sure, I haven't really looked into that. But I've got to agree, the TRON monorails aren't very magical(:

I was actually talking to my aunt and uncle about that! Because my uncle saw the car go above us super fast, and was wondering if it'd be good for my cousins, but I told them "Don't worry, it doesn't seem like you're going as fast as that when you're on the ride." And sure enough, I was right! Of course, it is really fast, it just looks a lot worse when you're watching other people go by above you.

i'm jus joining now, but it looks like you had fun!
i can't wait to go in march, your trip report is making me excited! :)
