"Quit Stepping on my Foot!" ~An April 2010 TR~ *NEW! 6/18 Last update!*

Those gloomy skies just seem to fit with the last day blues. I never want to leave my happy place.

Just curious, Sara-when is school out for you?

The sky totally fit the mood, the last day is always the 'worst'.

School's out for me next Thursday, which is a halfday. I'm so glad summer's almost here! Have Elizabeth and Rachel gotten out yet?

Yum...that funnel cake looks really good!:thumbsup2

Oh no! Those are some very dark clouds!!:sad2:

It was good! Disney's funnel cakes are some of the best!

They were dark, and they kept getting darker and darker

Are you foreshadowing with that sky picture, perhaps?:confused3 I can only imagine what happens in the next update, yikes! IASW is one of my favorite rides. I know some people think it's boring but to me it's a classic. I took both girls on it when I found out I was prego with them and when they were little and I hope I get to experience them watch their kids' faces on it.:goodvibes
That funnel cake sure looks good. Did you get it at Sleepy Hollow by any chance?

I am foreshadowing with that pic(: My english teacher would love it
I used to hate IASM, but I kind of like it now. And I actually like getting the "it's a small world" sond stuck in my head lol!
I'm not sure where we got it... I'll have to look into that

Well, then you don't have long to go---less than a week now! :woohoo:

Oh, yes, Elizabeth and Rachel (and me, too!) have been out of school since May 20th. We get out a lot earlier than the northern schools, but we go back to school earlier. Our first day for this next school year will begin August 9. You'll still be basking in your summer vacation! ;);)

Looks like rain is in the forecast. I love IASW but my girls hate it. They do go on sometimes but that is if they want something. The funnel cake looks good and I am going to get some when I get there.:lmao:

Yepp, only... 3 1/2 days!

Yay that ya'll are on summer vacation(: Don't you just loooooove summer? Especially since you're a teacher, that makes summer better, right? lol(:
We go back towards the end of August, I think around fifteen or so days after you guys go back

Hmmm, maybe ;)
My brothers try to bargain for something for going on IASM. It doesn't work out though, lol
The funnel cake was delicious!

April 9th
Day 5
MK/POP
Last Day :sad1:

We almost finished up the funnel cake, and took a quick bathroom break.

Soon enough, we were headed down Main Street.

These guys were performing at the time, so I snapped a few pics!

And then, we said goodbye to MK. At least for a few more months (1 month and 1 day until we're back again!)

We walked out through the turnstiles, and over to POP's bus stop.

From where we were standing, you could see all 3 Monorail line resorts!

While we were waiting, a few little ducks came up, hopeing for a snack. Sorry duckies, the bus came just as they waddeled up, lol.

We were the only people on the bus, which was pretty cool, and we spread ourselves out throughout the bus(;

In about ten minutes, we were back at the POP!

Since we still hadn't eaten lunch, and it was close to lunch time, we had to fix that problem...

Up Next: Lunch, Leaving, and an Unpleasent Surprise

Aww, I hate leaving the parks!
Cool that you could see all 3 monorail resorts from the busstop

No matter how you describe it, that last day at Disney just stinks---knowing that you have to leave in a short while!

Great Update, so sad it's the last day but at least you have another trip coming up to look forward to. I love Funnel Cake but never had it at WDW, usually get it at the church carnivals or places like that.

boooo last day stinks!
the sky looks bad and dark, not good!

It really does, right?!
For real, dark skies aren't good

Thank you(:
So true! The last day was better, knowing we'd be back in a few months.
WDWs funnel cakes are gooood

Well, this isn't TOTALLY off topic, it's still related to Disney!

This evening, we went to a Japanese restaurant, where they cook infront of you! I haven't been to one since last summer, at WDW when we ate at Teppan Edo!

WELL, before we even got there, I asked my mom, "Can I request that our chef dude make a onion volcano like ours did at Disney World?" My mom's reply was to just let the chef do his routine. Okay, okay, I can do that.

Fer you new to my reports, or to those of you who have forgotten, this was our old volcano at TE

Well, our chef guy came out, and started his routine, about half way in... I saw him pull out some onions... and my face got like this:
:hyper:

And then..........
............
...........
..........
.........
........
.......
......
.....
....
...
..
.
He chopped them up.

My new face was a mixture of these two:
 :guilty:

WAIT! He had put some off to the side! There was still some hope...

A few seconds later... he pulled over the onions, and started taking apart the layers... and putting them on top of each other...

My face at this point (mixture of both) :
:hyper: :woohoo:

And then....
...
...
He poored the *whatever its called* liquid into the onion volcano....

and it started shooting out fire.... and smoke! It was sooo cool!

Except, while WDW's volcano was at least a foot tall, this one was 1/10 the size of the one in the above pics.

Oh well, I was so happy! I didn't even have to ask him! And he made a relation to Disney World- my happy place!

I took some pics from dinner tonight (sorry they're so blurry, I took them from my cell phone) :

See? My off-topicness was Disney related!

I PROMISE, I'll finish our last day soon! I need to, because soon we'll be back again and I'll have a new report to share(:
