I just have to share -- not at all disney related -- I have been piecing quilts for 21 years and tonight is the first time EVER I have put on my own binding. I've always wimped out and given it to my mom or my father-in-law to do for me. But I'm trying to get a small tabletop-size quilt done for my mom in time for her birthday next week, and FIL leaves for vacation on Sunday so he can't do it. So I'm giving it my best shot. It's only 28" square so how hard can it really be, right?
I'm almost done with the machine sewing to the front (I just came online to refresh my memory about how you join the ends) and then tomorrow I will start the hand-sewing to the back.
My nerves are shot. I am so afraid of messing it up. Clearly, this is what separates the men from the boys (metaphorically speaking) when it comes to quilting!!
